Juneteenth is a federal holiday that celebrates the freedom of slaves in Galveston, Texas on June 19, 1865. During Juneteenth, check out the list of films, books, and web resources to learn more.

The Mercer University Libraries celebrates National Pride Month on behalf of our students, faculty, and staff who are a part of the LGBTQIA+ community. Mercer University Libraries celebrates National Nurses Week on behalf of our students, faculty, and staff. According to the American Nurses Association (ANA), National Nurses Week is “to recognize the contributions that nurses and nursing make to the community.” We are so grateful to provide library services to the College of Nursing.
