In-Person New Year Break Hours 2025

The Mercer University Libraries will alter our in-person hours for New Year Break from January 2, 2025 through January 5, 2025.

The 24/7 spaces at the Tarver and Swilley Libraries with reopen at 8:00 AM on January 2, 2025 and  will be accessible with a current Bear Card.

Winter Break Hours 2024

All Mercer University Libraries will be closed from December 21, 2024 through January 1, 2025 in observance of the winter holidays. This closure includes the 24/7 spaces at the Tarver and Swilley Libraries.

The Libraries, including the 24/7 spaces, will reopen on January 2, 2025 at 8:00 AM.

Homecoming at Tarver 2024

Happy Homecoming! Tarver Library will have a couple of events to celebrate so make sure to stop by!
 
Friday, November 1 from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM: Our Timeline at Tarver. Interact with our timeline, create a custom Mercer button, and look through old copies of Mercer’s yearbook, The Cauldron.
 
Saturday, November 2 from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM: Rest(room) and Read. Stop by the library for a quiet place to take a break from the activities of the weekend. At Tarver, you will find open bathrooms, a place to sit, and old yearbooks and a timeline to check out. You also can learn about resources available to Alumni.
