Francis Robert Otto Collection
George Van Greene Collection
The George Van Greene Collection contains correspondence and news articles related to the integration process at Mercer University in 1960s. The correspondence is between Greene, Mercer University faculty and staff, and Macon community members. The focus of some of the correspondence is on Sam Oni, the first African American student to attend Mercer University.
Harold L. Sangster Collection
The Harold L. Sangster Collection contains correspondence, personal research, bulletins, diplomas, and sermons from Rev. Sangster’s career. Most of his original files have been maintained. The Personal Series has been arranged alphabetically. The Sermons Series has been subdivided roughly by date preached, special event, topic, and miscellaneous. Miscellaneous sermons were often not filed or in any particular order.
Henry H. Tucker Collection
The Henry H. Tucker collection contains one account book. The financial transactions in the front of the book were recorded in 1884 and 1885. The back of the book contains clippings which have been glued to the pages. Most clippings are reviews of Tucker’s book, The Old Theology Restated.
J. Gorham Garrison Collection
The J. Gorham Garrison Collection consists of one box of certificates, correspondence, speeches, pamphlets, and clippings throughout Mr. Garrison’s career.
John Davis Blair, Jr., Collection
The J.D. Blair collection contains correspondences, newspaper clippings, programs, legal agreements, scouting reports, statistics, and subpoenas.
John Dolliver Freeman Collection
The John Dolliver Freeman Collection contains writings, notes, book chapters, and presentations. The collection spans the breadth of Mr. Freeman’s life.
John Eustace Denmark Collection
The John Eustace Denmark papers include three file folders kept in original order. They contain correspondence with people related to Mercer and invitations to Mercer University events.
