Baptists -- Georgia

The collection includes materials related to the running of the Baptist Woman’s Missionary Union of Georgia. These items include meeting minutes, photographs, audio-visual materials, scrapbooks, serial publications, promotional and event materials, and memorabilia. The collection is divided into 15 series, largely based on the type of materials and the contents. Some boxes are more processed than the rest. The Oversize Papers Collection contains large materials that were separated from personal papers collections and university records for better storage and preservation. The bulk of the collection is diplomas from institutions other than Mercer, but there are also certificates, decrees/proclamations, and professional licenses. The documents are arranged alphabetically by recipient.
