The Richardson collection contains three notebooks of class/lecture notes. One is dated 1903 and the other two are undated.

Biographical / Historical
Burt Richardson was born in Clinton, Indiana, in 1868. He obtained a Bachelor of Pedagogy, a Bachelor of Science, a Bachelor of Philosophy, a Master of Arts, and a Doctor of Philosophy. Before coming to Mercer in the fall of 1923, he worked at seven different universities. Along with teaching chemistry and becoming the Chair of the Department of Chemistry, he was the University’s Glee Club director for 13 years. He died on October 16, 1939.
