The collection includes materials related to the running of the Baptist Woman’s Missionary Union of Georgia. These items include meeting minutes, photographs, audio-visual materials, scrapbooks, serial publications, promotional and event materials, and memorabilia. James Hines Kilpatrick Papers

Scope and Contents

The James H. Kilpatrick Collection contains a scrapbook. This was apparently given to his son, William Heard Kilpatrick, upon his death in 1908. Inside are clippings, mostly from The Christian Index, but there are also clippings from the Texas Baptist Herald. There is a barely legible index of these clippings on the inside of the front and back covers. Topics var clippings and include church government, missions, temperance, and both amusing and moralistic anecdotes.
