These 3 very old ivory round pieces were probably used for furniture decoration and may well have come from the ancient Hebrew city of Samaria, the capital of the Northern Kingdom of Israel. These are probably from about 800 BC, a time of artistic renaissance, especially in ivory. These were part of the Lovelace Collection.
