Academic Search Complete (EBSCO) — Provides abstracts and indexing for over 3,800, as well as full text for over 3,200 scholarly journals and general magazines.
Research Library (ProQuest) — Provides abstracts and indexing for over 2,600, as well as full text for over 1,700 scholarly journals and general magazines. Research Library is an expansion of, and replacement for, the database titled Periodical Abstracts Research II.
ABI/INFORM Complete (ProQuest)
Provides in-depth information on business conditions and trends, corporate strategies and tactics, management techniques, competitive product information, and a wide variety of other business topics. Includes Dateline, covering about 170 full-text local, city, state, and regional business publications, magazines, daily newspapers, as well as business-oriented newswire services across the U.S. and Canada.
Asian Business and Reference (ProQuest) -- Information on companies, economies, markets, international trade, and overall business conditions throughout the Eastern Hemisphere.
Banking Information Source (ProQuest) -- Banking and financial services industry publications.
Business Source Complete Business Searching Interface (EBSCO)
This scholarly business database provides full text for over 2,345 journals covering all aspect of business, including disciplines such as marketing, management, MIS, POM, accounting, finance and economics. In the advanced search interface, quick access is available to company profiles, country reports, industry profiles, market research reports, SWOT analyses, and articles.
Dissertations and Theses Full Text [Tarver Library] (ProQuest)
Dissertations and Theses Full Text is a multidisciplinary database which includes 2.4 million searchable citations to dissertations and theses from around the world from 1861 to the present day together with 1.2 million full text dissertations that are available for download in PDF format. The database offers full text for most of the dissertations added since 1997 and strong retrospective full text coverage for older graduate works.
European Business (ProQuest) -- Provides information on specific economic and market conditions in countries and regions throughout Europe. Full-text, fully searchable articles are available from more than 110 leading titles, including The Economist, Fortune, and European Business Journal.
GeorgiaNet - Corporate Search (Records of Georgia Secretary of State)
Lists all organizations or individuals licensed for business by the Georgia Secretary of State.
Hoover's Company Profiles (ProQuest) -- Contains information about more than 40,000 public and non-public companies and 225,000 key executives. Hoover's provides company data, delivers in depth industry analyses, information on a company's location, summary financials, top competitors, top officers and more.
(EBSCO) -- Scholarly research and industry news relating to all areas of hospitality and tourism. Hospitality & Tourism Index Complete contains full text for more than 200 journals, including over fifty that are not included in Business Source Complete.
LexisNexis Academic (Coverage varies with the publication)
Provides full-text documents from national and regional newspapers, wire services, broadcast transcripts, international news, U.S. federal and state case law, codes, regulations, legal news, law reviews, and international legal information. Company information contains company financial reports, company profiles, and SEC filings and reports.
Mergent Online (Off-campus use requires password)
Provides access to extensive business and financial information on over 15,000 U.S. public companies and over 20,000 non-U.S. public companies from approximately 100 countries. The database also contains country profiles and industry reports.
Checkpoint/Tax Products (RIA)
RIA Checkpoint is a tool for tax and accounting research. It includes tax cases, codes and regulations, IRC publications and other tax documents and federal rulings and internal revenue bulletins. It also includes accounting standards and regulations from AICPA, FASB, GASB, IASB, PCAOB, the SEC reference library, the Federal Tax Coordinator, U.S. Tax Reporter, and Federal Tax Handbook, as well as state tax cases, rulings, and legislation.
[formerly Business Wire News] (EBSCO) — Provides comprehensive full-text coverage for regional business publications. Regional Business News incorporates coverage of 75 business journals, newspapers and newswires from metropolitan and rural areas within the United States.
Statistical Abstract of the United States (ProQuest) -- Includes authoritative and comprehensive summary of statistics on the social, political, and economic conditions of the United States. Published annually by the Federal Government since 1878, ProQuest now updates and publishes this resource monthly
This database is the official source of current and cumulative U.S. export and import statistics. It provides more than 18,000 export commodities and 24,000 import commodities worldwide, using the Harmonized System (HS) and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes. Access to the database is available only at documents workstation within the library. Password required (librarian will log in user).
Value Line Research Center
Provides on-line access to Value Line's leading publications covering stocks, mutual funds, options and convertible securities as well as special situation stocks. The Value Line Research Center includes:
