Scope and Contents

This collection consists of correspondence, coursework and educational materials, published and unpublished writings, biographical materials, sermons, conference materials, addresses and presentations, and memorabilia and mementoes that document the life and work of Dodie Younger. Particularly well documented in this collection is Younger's work with women in ministry and with ecumenism, as well as her association with Yale Divinity School.

Abstract The papers of George Younger span the years of his ministry career to his death, 1951 to 2001. Younger was heavily involved in American Baptist churches and American Baptist denominational life, having served as a local pastor and denominational leader.
