Will itself is dated Dec. 19, 1791. Proven in court Dec. 28, 1795. Not the original will, note at the end states: "N.B. This is copied from a copy certified by Mr. Williams, C.R.C. by Mr. Silas Hough."

Haswell was writing from a post in Burma on Bilu ("Biloo") Island. He calls the village Kah-mar-kay. No year noted on the letter. First page dated Dec. 13 and 27, second page dated Dec. 13, last page is dated Dec. 14 and 19.
