This memoir of Howard R. Murphy, titled "From Lone Prairies to Teeming Jungles," covers Murphy's life and works from his birth and ancestry to 1956. Includes a foreword by Joseph Chandler Robbins, Foreign Secretary of ABFMS (1916-1940) and President of the American Baptist Convention (1943-44). Includes an epilogue about Murphy's second marriage.

Contains missionary correspondence from Minnie Argetsinger (Chengtu, West China), Velva Brown (Swatow, China), Marguerite Everham (Swatow, China), and Clara Tingley (Bassein, Burma), all addressed to Mrs. J.H. Neher of Exeter, CA.

This collection conists of radio scripts written by pastor Paul H. Conrad for the ABC Radio and Mutual Boardcasting Systems. His segments "Gems for Thought" (ABC Radio) and "Faith in Our Time" (Mutual Broadcasting System) were five minute talks intended for a broad audience that may or may not be Christian.

Also included is a book "This is Paul: The Life and Times of Rev. Dr. Paul H. Conrad," by David Conrad.
