Biographical / Historical

Hattie Price was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1890 and received a BA from Ottawa University Academy in 1913. She received an MA from University of Southern California in 1934. She was appointed on recommendation of the Woman’s American Baptist Foreign Mission Society in March 1916, with designation to Burma. She sailed October 1916, arriving in Kemendine, Burma, on December 10. She taught at the Girls’ School at Kemendine for two terms. She returned to the U.S. on June 23, 1930 and resigned in 1934.
