File Plan

Harold Hoffman was born in Chicago and graduated from Northern Illinois University where he met his wife Beatrice. Hoffman received an MRE from Northern Baptist Seminary, a BD from Central Baptist Seminary and an MA in history from Butler University. He was ordained as an American Baptist minister serving pastorates in West Virginia, Indianapolis, St. Louis, Dearborn and Detroit, Michigan. He was Director of Men and Boys at the Weirton Christian Center in West Virginia from 1956 to 1959. He served as president of Dearborn Clergy Association, and of the National Academy of Parish Clergy. Hoffman and his wife retired to Decatur, Georgia, where they were members of Oakhurst Baptist Church. He passed away in 2014.
