Biographical / Historical
Wiley earned a BA from Milwaukee-Downer College and an MA from the University of Michigan and was employed by the Milwaukee Public Schools from 1931 to 1938. She was appointed a missionary in 1938 and assigned to Burma and served in the areas of education and evangelism. Missionaries in Burma were evacuated to India in 1942, where Wiley joined the staff of the Girls High School in Nellore. She served as principal-administrator for schools in Nellore, Ongole and Jangaon. Later she became education secretary for the Samevasam of Telugu Baptist Churches, South India. Wiley retired in 1976.
