Scope and Contents
Correspondence of Yuriko Mary Nakahara (later Yuri Kochiyama), Ina Sugihara, and John Thomas regarding Nakahara's volunteer activities while incarcerated at Jerome Relocation Center. Includes discussion of Nakahara's work identifying and encouraging incarcerated students to apply for relocation, as well as her organization of the "Crusaders" letter-writing campaign by incarcerated women to support the morale of Nisei soliders.
