Biographical / Historical
Hugh Stowell Brown (1823-1886) was a Baptist minister who entered the London and Birmingham Railway Works in 1840. Became Minister of Myrtle Street Baptist Chapel, Liverpool, in 1847, holding the post until his death. Gave very successful Sunday afternoon lectures to working men in Liverpool.
