In 1877, at the direction of the Church, the Pastor, the Rev. Dr. George Dana Boardman, issued the first Annual Report of the First Baptist Church. This report covered the fiscal year then in effect from September 1875 to September 1876. The Reports from 1876 to 1894 were entitled Pastor's Reports. After the consolidation of First Baptist Church and Beth Eden Baptist Church in 1895, the newly formed congregation renamed the report to Annual Report. These Annual Reports appeared on a calendar year until 1920 when the Church adjusted its fiscal year to the present one covering the period 1 May to 30 April. The Church published biannual reports from Fiscal Year (FY) 1920/1921 until FY 1935/1936. No reports were published from FY 1936/1937 until FY 1957/1958 although the materials were collected. Beginning in FY 1958/1959 and continuing to the present, the Church has issued an Annual Report.
