Twenty-six page presentation album from the "Kengtung painter of Yan Hlwa village (Shan State) to American Baptist missionary nurse, Elva Jenkins (Hendershot) to thank her for treating his wife. Such albums by the Kengtung artist probably served as view books of various ethnic peoples either for some native notable, or for the European clientele living in British Burma at the turn of the twentieth century.
