Biographical / Historical
The earliest statewide publication for Baptists in West Virginia, the West Virginia Baptist Record began publication as a monthly newspaper with Volume 1, Issue 1 in March of 1869. Beginning with Volume II, Issue 1 in March of 1870, the paper became a semimonthly published simply as the Baptist Record.
