The Monroe F. Swilley, Jr. Library is pleased to announce the 2021 Monroe F. Swilley, Jr. Library Student Research Award.

This award recognizes students who incorporate the use of Mercer University Libraries' collections and services and demonstrate active critical thinking in both the research project and reflection paper. 

The 2021 annual Monroe F. Swilley, Jr. Library Student Research Award application deadline is 5 p.m. March 5, 2021. The winner and runner-up will present at the Atlanta Research Conference taking place virtually on April 10, 2021. The winner will receive a $250 monetary prize and a commemorative plaque, and the runner-up will receive a $100 monetary prize and certificate. Team awards will be divided equally among all members.

Apply by submitting your proposal to the Atlanta Research Conference and select “yes” for the Swilley Research Award. A 250-700 word essay describing your utilization of library resources is required.
