Scope and Contents

Walter Rauschenbusch: 66.8 linear feet. Family and professional correspondence, some in German; lecture notes for courses at Rochester Seminary; resource files of notebooks and newspaper clippings; essays and notes, many in German; a small coin collection; five book-length manuscripts; twenty-two scrapbooks of items about Walter; copies of Walter's published works; voice recordings. Pauline Rauschenbusch: Correspondence of Walter's wife with friends and family, including after Walter's death; holiday greetings; family photographs. Stephen, Winifred, Paul, Carl, and Lisa Raushenbush. Winifred's diaries, articles, and research notes, especially about the fashion industry and sociologist Robert Park; Lisa's notes on King Lear and a sabbatical in England; Stephen's professional correspondence with organizaitons such as the Public Affairs Institute and the National Parks Association; correspondence between Carl and Lisa; publications by the children, particularly Stephen.
