Processing Information

L.B. Davis, 1971, provides a carton list. Folder level processing took place later, no date given, and handwriting of the notes was identified as Jan Ballard, Archivist, American Baptist Historical Society. In that inventory, folders and boxes are labeled as being removed for conservation. Those boxes were found in 2020 as the inventory was being readied for inclusion in ArchivesSpace. In 2020 Head of Archives and Special Collections Jill Sweetapple added Boxes 31 and 32, made up of many of the removed materials, however, two manuscript boxes are too damaged to handle. She also removed oversized material from their original locations and organized them separately.
